KAMP’s NASTA Toppers (2019 & 2020) and Officials participated in a Scientific Excursion at the ISRO’s UR Rao Space Centre (URSC) & CSIR’s Fourth Paradigm Institute (4PI) in Bangalore.
During this visit, the participants were given an industrial tour at the URSC where the we able to observe scientists in action through a glass window, shown documentary videos of satellite launch and its phases, and a space museum explorations where the could see models of the satellites, GPS, and many of its components. Similarly, at the CSIR-4PI, the students were given an opportunity to visit the Cyber Secutiry Lab, Global Navigation Satellite System Lab, High-Performance Computing data Centre.
The purpose of this Scientific Excursion was to enable students to explore, engage, experience and enjoy. They were guided upon several things like how they can develop Scientific Temper and discover their talent and achieve their desired goals.
