The CEO and General Manager of Arera Colony-based Jai Shree Gayatri Food Products Company, along with the owners of two companies in Dubai and Kuwait, duped the company to the tune of Rs 15 crore, Habibganj police have started investigation.
To benefit the businessmen, both the accused have committed a scam of crores of rupees by giving a scheme of giving one product free on purchase of one product. In return for this they also got commission in addition.
On suspicion, the fraud and embezzlement came to light when the records of the company were audited.
TI Manish Raj Singh Bhadauria told that Pradeep Kumar Rathore, of JK Road, is the finance manager of Jai Shree Gayatri Food Product Company located at Arera Colony, the director of the said company is Kishan Modi, who lives in Shahpura. The company supplies the products to any of its customers as per the rules only after receiving the order on the company's authorized e-mail. But from June 2020, Sunil Tripathi, CEO of his company and Vamik Siddiqui, General Manager, gave illegal benefits to Hitesh Punjabi of Indore and Baljit Sharma of Allahabad.
Both supplied products worth Rs 15 crores at different times till May 2023 from Jai Shree Gayatri Food Dairy Products Company to Hitesh and Baljeet's companies located in Dubai and Kuwait. The accused supplied the goods to the company without receiving the order on its authorized e-mail. Both the companies have been benefited by giving offers on every product without the owner's permission. By doing this, he cheated and embezzled about 15 crores.
The incident came to light when Jai Shree Gayatri Food Products Company was audited due to low profits despite continuous production. After this, the company officials caught four containers being sent by the accused to Dubai. After this, the company's CEO Sunil Tripathi and General Manager Vamik Siddiqui switched off their mobiles and fled from the city. After receiving the complaint in this matter on Tuesday, the police have registered a case of fraud and embezzlement of Rs 15 crore against the accused Sunil Tripathi, Vamik Siddiqui, Hitesh Punjabi and Baljeet Sharma.
TI Bhadauria says that in the name of offer, a separate commission of twenty percent was given to both the CEO and the regional manager of the company in order to sell the goods at a lower price. The accused have also several times transferred the company's money to their personal accounts. Evidence of this has also been found in the investigation so far.
