Dr Ratinder Jhaj, Professor, Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS Bhopal, was awarded the "Eminent Clinical Pharmacologist of Madhya Pradesh" award for her contribution to the field at the International Workshop and Conference "Advancing Pediatric Drug Development in South Asia & Regulatory Milestone in Drug Development". The event was organized by the South Asian College of Clinical Pharmacology, an affiliate of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology, USA, in collaboration with the VNS group of institutions in Bhopal. Prof. Dr. Ajai Singh, Executive Director, AIIMS Bhopal congratulated her for this achievement.
Dr. Bhavya, Junior Resident (Academic) and Saman Pathan, Research Fellow, Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS, Bhopal, received second prizes in the clinical and preclinical category, respectively, for the Poster presentation during the event.
Dr Shilpa N Kaore, Additional professor, Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS Bhopal, was a judge for poster sessions on both days and was in the Organising team of the conference for scientific review of submitted papers, and was felicitated for the same.
Also, Dr Shilpa Kaore was part of the study along with Dr Shubham Atal, Associate professor and Dr Sameer Khasbage, Senior Resident from Department of Pharmacology which won second prize in poster presentation under clinical category presented by Dr Bhavya.
Saman Pathan was mentored by Dr. Shubham Atal, Prof. Balakrishnan S, Head of Department of Pharmacology, and Dr. Danish Javed from the AYUSH department for the research work presented, which is funded by a grant from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
