Crime Branch Bhopal arrested the main accused who cheated 15 persons to the tune of Rs 35 lakh in the name of facilitating government jobs.
The accused himself prepared fake appointment letters and fake I-cards by forging the signature of DRM Bhopal. He used to pose as an officer of the Railway Recruitment Board.
The accused had made people visit Bhopal railway station in the name of training. Fake seals and WCR printed T-shirts were made from Bista Print online. Accused remained absconding for four months.
The accused absconded from Bhopal and Khandwa and started working at FNB Bakery in Kota.
Pritpal Singh Badhwa' lodged a complaint against Neeraj Nelson Bethe and Sandeep Das about fraud. In the year 2020, an acquaintance introduced Sandeep Das introduced to Neeraj Nelson Bethe and said that he is a Railway Recruitment Board officer. He took Rs.835123 for getting his son Prateek a job in the railway department and a fake appointment letter in the name of son which was also signed and sealed.
Account was also opened in which cash amount was deposited in Prateek's account for about 4 months. In the year 2021, it was found that the said appointment is fake and said that he would complain to the police.
Neeraj Nelson and Sandeep Das were booked under sections 170, 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 473, 120B of the IPC.
Later Neeraj Nelson Bethe was arrested from Sagar Garhakota road.
A laptop and 2 stamp seals were recovered and seized from there.
The accused was earlier working at a store named Hyper City but was not satisfied with his income. Inspired by Hollywood films, he made a plan to cheat people in the name of getting jobs in railways, for this he bought a laptop and printer, after that he searched his laptop by searching for appointment orders from railways and samples of I-cards used in railways. He prepared the draft of the order and I-card.
After this, he started cheating unemployed people on the pretext of getting them jobs. The accused put the money of resident of Indore 12345 Betul in his account, after that the accused first prepared fake appointment orders of people in a planned manner, after that they bought fake seal of DRM Bhopal and printed T-shirt of WCR from Bista print. He himself signed the appointment order and I-card and handed over the appointment letters to the people.
After this, all the people were made to stay in Bhopal by getting them a room on rent in Karond and by giving T-shirts and I-cards, they made them visit Bhopal railway station and the trains standing at the station several times.
The accused also opened the salary accounts of all the people in the banks. The accused made all the people roam around for three-four months in the name of training. Some money was deposited and it was told that the full salary is not received during the training. When the people came to know that the appointment letters were fake, the accused kept assuring them to return the money and absconded to Kota.
