Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will hand over appointment letters and congratulate the newly appointed teachers on August 21.
Chief Minister Chouhan will address the newly appointed teachers in their training programme in accordance with the new National Education Policy designed for the development of India and its future and will also motivate them to ensure excellence in teaching and establish new dimensions in education.
The training-cum-orientation programme of newly appointed teachers will be held at 11 am at CM Rise Government Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School, BHEL (Barkhera), Bhopal. In this, appointment letters will be given to 5 thousand 580 newly appointed teachers in the session 2023-24. Minister Tribal Affairs Department Meena Singh and Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) and General Administration Inder Singh Parmar will be present in the programme. The programme will also be telecast virtually.
In the last three years, appointment orders have been issued for 49 thousand 48 posts of primary, secondary and higher secondary teachers in the School Education Department and Tribal Affairs Department. In the session 2021-22, a total of 20 thousand 979 teachers have been appointed which includes 14 thousand 644 teachers in school education and 6 thousand 335 teachers in Tribal Affairs Department.
In the session 2022-23, a total of 22 thousand 489 teachers have been appointed including 11 thousand 903 teachers in school education and 10 thousand 586 teachers in Tribal Affairs Department.
In the session 2023-24, a total of 5 thousand 580 teachers have been appointed including 5 thousand 498 teachers in the School Education Department and 82 teachers in the Tribal Affairs Department. In the current session 2023-24, the process of appointment of 15 thousand 206 posts is in progress in the School Education Department.
