CM reviews preparations for Prime Minister’s programmes

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the programmes to be organised at Lalpur and Pakaria located in Budhar of Shahdol district on June 27.

Prime Minister Modi will conclude the Veerangana Rani Durgavati Gaurav Yatra and launch the National Sickle Cell Anaemia Eradication Campaign at the huge tribal conference in Lalpur. In village Pakaria, Prime Minister Modi will interact with football players, beneficiaries of PESA Act, Lakhpati Didis of self-help groups and heads of tribal communities. Proper preparations are being made at both the programme sites. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Budhar in Shahdol today on a short stay and took stock of the preparations at both the programme sites.

The Chief Minister said that the visit of Prime Minister Modi is a matter of pride for the state. He instructed the officers that all the preparations should be excellent. There should be no shortfall of any type. Keeping in view the possibility of rain, ensure such arrangements that there should be no interruption in the programme. Make proper arrangements for the seating of distinguished persons and general public at the programme venue. Prime Minister Modi will interact with the Didis of the self-help group in Pakaria village. Make sure all the arrangements for this also. In a special banquet organised under the Millet Mission, the Prime Minister will relish dishes made from shriann along with the tribal community members. Be sure to make special banquet arrangements as well. The Chief Minister also gave instructions related to security.

During the inspection, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Bisahulal Singh, Tribal Affairs Minister Meena Singh, Minister in-charge of the district and Minister of State for Rural Development Ram Khelawan Patel, Member of Parliament  Himadri Singh, MLA Jai Singh Maravi, and Manisha Singh, local public representatives, Divisional Commissioner Rajeev Kumar Sharma and Commissioner Public Relations Manish Singh were present.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride and honour for every countryman for the country's illustrious Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be adorned with Egypt's highest honour "Order of the Nile".

India's stature and respect in the world is continuously increasing under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Prime Minister Modi was awarded the "Order of the Nile", the highest Egyptian honour by the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El Sisi. Started in the year 1915, this honour is given to those heads of state who have rendered invaluable service to humanity.
