Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana. Under this scheme the families who were deprived of housing facility in various housing schemes will be given houses. Chief Minister Chouhan launched the scheme in a state level programme organised at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium. He got the applications of Mamta Chauhan and Deepak Bansal of Bhopal registered on the portal and started the process. Under the gas cylinder re-filling scheme launched by Chief Minister Chouhan on September 15, Smt. Sharmila Bai and Sangeeta Solanki were registered. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia, MLA Vishnu Khatri, Additional Chief Secretary Malay Srivastava and departmental officers were present in the programme.
Wishing Prime Minister Modi on his birthday, Chief Minister Chouhan prayed for his health and happiness and keep leading the country and the world and his fame should continue to grow. These are my best wishes.
Chouhan said that a new revolution begins today. My dream is that no one should live in a broken hut. Everyone should have their own permanent house, even if it is a small one. With this in mind, the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana has been introduced. The families who were deprived of housing schemes will be provided housing under this scheme. During his tour in the state women would often come to him and expressed their need for a home. Relieving the suffering of poor sisters and daughters is my top priority. It is a reality that after food, house is the biggest need of every family. The state government will leave no stone unturned to provide houses to poor families. Chief Minister Bhu-Awas Yojana was also started with the same purpose. Those who do not have land to live in the village, are being provided pattas. Every poor person in Madhya Pradesh will have a piece of land to live on. At many places the poor are being settled on the land reclaimed from the mafia. If there is shortage of land in cities, multi-storey houses will be built.
The Chief Minister said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana is a huge step taken for the happiness and respect of women. The scheme will provide houses to the families who are not included in Pradhan Mantri Awas and Awas Plus. More than 4 lakh 75 thousand beneficiaries will get benefits under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana. This scheme is for families deprived of the benefits of various housing schemes. Homeless eligible families of all categories will get its benefit.
Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mahendra Singh Sisodia said that the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Awas Yojana is the outcome of the commitment of Chouhan to remove the sorrows and pain of poor families. With this, poor sisters and daughters living in kutcha houses will be provided with permanent houses of their own. Minister Sisodia expressed gratitude to CM Chouhan on behalf of all the Panchayats of the state for this scheme being launched on the birthday of Prime Minister Modi.
