Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated multiple development projects worth Rs 1,717 crore in Noida in Gautam Buddha Nagar district on Sunday. He also addressed a public meeting in Gautam Buddha Nagar as part of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Maha Jan Sampark campaign.
Chief Minister Yogi said that people’s perception about Gautam Buddha Nagar had changed in the last six years. He said earlier people living in Delhi used to hesitate to come to Greater Noida but now the situation had changed. “Now people from every corner of Delhi and the country want to come to Noida and Greater Noida where the Medical Device Park, Jewar International Airport, Film City and infrastructure facilities are coming up,” he said.
The development projects dedicated by the chief minister included Ved Van Park situated in Sector 78, a power sub-station in Sector 123 set up at a cost of around Rs 142 crore etc. The cable-stayed flyover on MP3 (Parthala Chowk) main road connecting Noida to Greater Noida was also dedicated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, giving a big relief to commuters coming to Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
Other projects inaugurated by the chief minister included an underpass near Advant at CH 10.300 of Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, a plant for disposal of sewage coming out of Greater Noida, internal development work of Ecotech-10 industrial sector of Greater Noida.
The chief minister also laid the foundation stones of several projects which include production of 900 ton capacity torrefied charcoal (greencoal) per day from solid waste and establishment of bio CNG gas plant with 300 ton capacity. Drain, water supply, sewer line and electricity development for Industrial Sector 162 and 163 of Noida, 45-metre road widening parallel to the expressway from Sector 163 to 167 of Noida, 33/11 KV sub-station at village Nagla Charandas Phase-2, Sector-151, Sector-155, Sector-156, Sector-162 and Sector 164 of Noida.
The other projects included decorative lights, tricolour lights and fountains in Greater Noida Expressway and other areas of the authority, strengthening of Renewal No 1, 4 and 6 in Noida, west to Wonder Park near flyover in Sector 94, Noida, development of green belts in Noida Sectors 150, 151 and 163 and Greater Noida (resurfacing work of Char Murti Rotary and 60-metre wide road from Balak Inter College in Dadri and service road from Prezyno Rotary to Hanuman Mandir Rotary.
Chief Minister Yogi said that solving the problems of farmers was his government’s top priority. “We will solve their problems through dialogue. The anti-development and negative forces should not be allowed to come in between. Those who play with the future of the coming generation should not be allowed to succeed. We will solve all the problems arising between buyers of properties and builders very soon,” he said
In the programme, Chief Minister Yogi handed over 15 new Bolero vehicles to the Noida police for the safety of the public. He flagged off these vehicles. Apart from this, in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi, a memorandum of understanding was symbolically exchanged between Noida Development Authority, Greater Noida Development Authority and NTPC for municipal solid waste management.
Among those present on the occasion were Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI and Investment Promotion Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi', Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development Jaswant Singh Saini, Minister of State for Public Works Department Brijesh Singh, Rajya Sabha member Surendra Nagar, Gautam Buddha Nagar MP Dr Mahesh Sharma, Noida MLA Pankaj Singh and other public representatives.
