The Higher Education Department in Chhattisgarh has been awarded the Skoch Silver Award for ‘Project Assessment and Accreditation’.
The award has been given due to the presentation, voting and achievements of several stages while competing with many big and important projects in the country.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel have congratulated the officers and employees for the achievement, an official statement said on Monday.
The Higher Education Department, to increase the quality of higher education, started a campaign to get affiliation from NAAC on a mission mode.
There has been an increase in the number of students taking admission in colleges. From 2.26 lakh students in 2018, it has increased to 3.35 lakh in 2022-23.
