: A two-day 14th triennial General Council meeting of the Employees ' Union of the Bank of India, State unit, began at Keonjhar on Saturday and the theme of the meet was 'Changing global economy and role of trade union.'
Bank of India Employees' Federation general secretary Dinesh Jha Lalan inaugurated the programme. Reception Committee chairman Suresh Patnaik delivered the welcome address and Ambedkar Foundation, New Delhi member Dilip Behera joined as chief guest.
All India Bank Employees' Union general secretary Vikram Kumar Mishra, Comrade Ramakrishna Panda, State Bank Employees Union general secretary PK Tripathy, ST, SC and OBC Employees Association secretary Hari Shankar Nayak attended the programme as guests of honour.
General secretary Pravir Kumar Ghose read out the annual report. More than 300 delegates from all over Odisha attended.
