Delhi BJP on Thursday held a one-day state executive meeting in which senior party functionaries discussed range of issues pertaining to the national Capital politics and simultaneously the achievements of the BJP-led Government at the Centre which is preparing to celebrate its ninth anniversary.
In the inaugural address, BJP national organisation general secretary BL Santosh attacked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal saying that a leader has created a ‘common man’ image with the help of illusions and lies.
Adding to this, the recent political issues — expense on the beautification of CM’s residence and the recent Supreme Court decision regarding the rights of the Delhi Government — were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the recent SC’s decision, Delhi BJP president Virender Sachdeva said, “ We do not want to comment on the order of the Honorable Court, but the way the Kejriwal Government is trying to suppress its various corruption cases by threatening administrative officials under the guise of this order is condemnable”.
Santosh also applauded the Modi government last nine years achievements and called upon the members of the Executive Committee to hold a door-to-door campaign between May 30 and June 30 to publicize them.
Detailing about the ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’, BJP MP Saroj Pandey said that this campaign is a beneficiary public relations programme in which lakhs of workers will be engaged.
They shared campaign will unfold in three phases – the first phase will be held on May 25 during which appointments will be made, while the second phase will run from May 29 to June 20 and the final phase from June 20 to 30.
Senior BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri moved a political Resolution appreciating Central leadership contribution to the capital and the failures of the AAP led Delhi government which was seconded by Delhi BJP MPs Dr Harsh Vardhan and Manoj Tiwari which was passed unanimously.
