State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi made a big attack on Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the Congress Party on Friday. Addressing a press conference at the state office, Marandi said that around Rs 300 crore cash recovered in the IT raids from various locations of Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu belongs to top Congress leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
He said that its links are connected to Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. This money is from the hard-earned money of the poor and is related to liquor scam, the compiler of which is also from Jharkhand. There is a possibility that this money was kept to influence the election results.
He said that I suspect that after the ED raid in Jharkhand, there was discussion overnight about carrying money in ambulances towards Odisha, West Bengal and Bihar. This discussion is happening even today after the recovery of such a huge amount.
He said that even before this, crores of rupees had been recovered in the ED action in Jharkhand. The state of corruption is such that gold was bought with looted money, buried in the ground and hidden. He said that as the investigation intensifies, all this will gradually come to light.
He said that Modi's guarantee is to extract every penny from those who looted the poor and hoarded their money. The looted money of Jharkhand will have to be returned to the public.
He said that an FIR should be registered against MP Dheeraj Sahu immediately and he should be arrested and he should be strictly interrogated.
He said that the Prime Minister is committed to a corruption-free India. He said that the state BJP will not tolerate the looting of public money. The party will struggle continuously by raising this issue from the House to the streets.
Marandi said that there will be a protest and demonstration on December 10 against the corruption prevalent in Jharkhand, including the demand for the arrest of MP Dheeraj Sahu in all the districts.
State General Secretary Dr. Pradeep Verma, State Media In-charge Shivpujan Pathak and Spokesperson Pratul Shahdev were also present in today's press conference.
