Under the auspices of Global Leaders Foundation, Bharat-Nepal Friendship Summit was organised on the theme ‘Globalisation of Socio-economic Development’ on Friday in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. On the occasion Dr Rajeev Kumar Dubey from Department of Anaesthesia, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU) was felicitated with William TG Morton Medical Education Award-2023 for Excellence in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr Rajeev is presently working as a professor and senior consultant in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care. The summit was attended by various scientists, educationists and political diplomats from India and Nepal. Dr Rajeev also presented a research paper in this event.
SEMINAR: A three-day international seminar ‘Understanding Composite Culture through the Tradition of Devotional Songs’ will be organised from October 28 to 30 under the aegis of the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS), BHU. Funded by BHU and ICSSR, the seminar will have the distinguished presence of scholars from countries such as the USA, South Africa, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and Singapore.
