Minister of Railways, Communication, Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav and Minister of Education & Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday flagged of train number 18452/18451 Puri converted from conventional coach rake to LHB. The train was flagged off from Puri Railway Station through video conferencing. The live telecast of this programme was organized at Hatia Railway Station of Ranchi Railway Division. MP Lohardaga Sudarshan Bhagat, MLA Khijri Rajesh Kachhap and Divisional Railway Manager Pradeep Gupta were mainly present on this occasion.
Lohardaga MP Sudarshan Bhagat and Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap addressed the gathering in the live broadcast programme organized at Hatia station and expressed happiness over the change in LHB coach rake of train number 18452/18451 Puri - Hatia - Puri Tapaswini Express train. Divisional Railway Manager Pradeep Gupta mentioned the features of LHB rake in his address and Senior Divisional Traffic Manager cum Chief Public Relations Officer Aditya Kumar Choudhary conducted the programme and while addressing the gathering said that now the journey for passengers Will be more comfortable than before.
Train No. 18452/18451 Puri – Hatia – Puri Tapaswini Express train conventional coach train had 20 coaches earlier and now LHB coach converted rake will have total 21 coaches as follows: 01 coach of generator vehicle, 1 coach of SLRD.
There will be 01 coach, 04 general class coach, 09 second sleeper coach, 03 air-conditioned 3 tier coach, 02 air-conditioned 2 tier coach and 01 air-conditioned first class coach.
LHB rake coaches are more comfortable than before. The seats, charging points, fans and brake system are of higher quality than before and will have 172 more reservation seats for the passengers than before.
On this occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations) Manish Kumar, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. GC Hembram, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination) Amit Kanchan, Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer S.
