Sanskriti University achieves new milestone, files 1,155 patents

Sanskriti University has crossed the coveted landmark figure of filing 1,155 patents out of which 702 patents filled in the financial year 2021-22. Sanskriti University is emerging as one of the fastest growing universities of India and has been committed to contribute to academics, research and innovation to enable our country to make a transition from developing economy to a developed economy. Sanskriti University has recognized the importance of Research and Innovation that during such a short period of span, the University has filed more than 1155 patents and 30 Designed patents, out of these 26 designed patents registered.

There is a dedicated team of biologists, engineers, IP professionals who are actively involved in filing patent applications on behalf of the university at the Indian Patent Office, Indian Copyright Office, Indian Industrial Design Office, and Indian Trademark Office.

Chancellor Sachin Gupta expressed the hope that it would encourage all the faculty and students to take up research. He said "that Research is the back bone of India. Our youth have unique ideas and these ideas can be converted into patents".

He believes in transforming the knowledge into reality. He also congratulated the university staff for this achievement.

Sanskriti University's Patent portfolio now totals 239 issued patents, with a dozen new patents recently published by Indian Patent Office. These include patents from various fields such as Electronics & Communication Engg., Mechanical Engg., Electrical Engg., Computer Science Engg., Chemistry, Pharmacy etc.

Sanskriti University justifying its motto of "For Excellence in Life" had continuously contributed in the field of science and technology. Since its incorporation, the university has underlined the importance of invention and research papers.
