The protesting BMC workers have demanded to take action against the Assistant Health Officer (AHO) who abused the sanitation workers during the strike in the state capital earlier.
Regarding this, the office bearers of the employees union also met Corporation Commissioner KVS Chaudhary Kolsani on Monday. On December 12, the employees went on strike regarding their demands and had stopped working.
Meanwhile, a video of AHO Magan Jha of Zone-15 went viral. In which he was seen abusing the employees. The employee leaders and employees were angry about this. Corporation President Kishan Suryavanshi and Commissioner KVS Chaudhary Kolsani had expressed displeasure over this attitude of AHO Jha.
On Monday, the employee leaders came to meet the commissioner, demanding action on the AHO.
The video went viral during the strike. In which AHO Magan Jha is visible. This 1.25 minute video spread rapidly on social media. In which he was using abusive language for the employees.
Irfan Altaf, convenor of the Officer-Employee Joint Sangharsh Morcha and media in-charge Ashok Verma said that they have met the commissioner on Monday demanding strict action on the demand for action on the AHO. If not removed, a warning has also been given to protest on January 2.
