After modification in the Gas Utilities Department of Bokaro Steel Plant, the Excitation System of Russian Compressor of Oxygen Service was inaugurated by Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director (Works). During the event CGM (Electricity) Ved Prakash, CGM (Utilities) Sharad Gupta, GM (Gas Utilities) SS Sinha, GM (Gas Utilities) Arun Chauhan, GM (Gas Utilities) Sanjay Gupta, GM (Gas Utilities) Rajiv Singh, GM (ETL) Basant Keshav, Senior Manager (ETL) Mantosh Kumar including other officers from Gas Utilities and personnel of ETL Department were also present .
During the work, for the last few days, abnormal tripping was taking place in the Excitation System of Russian Compressor of Oxygen Service, due to which there was a problem in the oxygen supply. To overcome the problem of abnormal tripping, the personnel of Gas Utilities Department formed a team to solve the problem of abnormal tripping from their internal resources and with the help of ETL department. As a result of successful execution of work with internal resources the oxygen supply is now restored to normal.
