The Union Ministry of Road Transport Nitin Gadkari has given in-principle approval for construction of eight roads left within the cities due to the construction of a bypass on the National Highway in Rewa district under one time investment.
Due to the determined efforts of the Speaker of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly construction of these dilapidated roads which was pending for a long time had raise hopes. The Madhya Pradesh government had sent its proposal to the Union Road Transport Ministry. Expressing gratitude to the Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the approval of the route, Gautam said that with the construction of these routes, development will get new speed and transport facilities in many cities of Rewa district.
The routes which have received approval, part of Mauganj Nagar, proposed cost of Rs 18.11 crores, part of Hanumana Nagar, proposed cost of Rs 12.42 crores, Raghunath Ganj Nagar share, proposed cost of Rs 8.39 crores, part of Raipur Karchulian Nagar, proposed cost of Rs 9.7 crores, part of Manganwa Nagar, proposed cost of Rs 10.68 crores, Devtalab Nagar share, Rs 7.17 crore proposed cost and part of Gudh Nagar proposed cost of Rs 8.86 crores.
