You can also join the Energy Literacy Campaign. Joining the campaign is totally free. Register through web portal www.usha.mp.gov.in and mobile app UShA. The mobile app UShA can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. The participants will be able to appear in an examination in the form of multiple choice questions through online mode according to their convenience. Presently 12 course modules are in vogue. Based on the answers, participants are given a three-tier online energy literacy certificate.
It is noteworthy that to deal with the effects of global warming and climate change, energy literacy campaign is being conducted in the state. In the campaign, people are made aware about the expenditure and wastage of energy, information about traditional and alternative sources of energy and their impact on the environment, energy conservation and management. Along with establishing a meaningful dialogue about energy and energy use, participants develop the ability to make decisions for its efficient use based on an understanding of the effects and consequences of energy use. Participants are also made capable of selecting different energy technologies to reduce environmental risks and negative impacts of climate change.
