An international conference on the worldwide renaissance of Hindutva was organised in the Doon University on Monday. The programme was organised by the Uttarakhand unit of the Pragya Pravaha. On the eve of the programme the governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh formally inaugurated the souvenir at Raj Bhawan on Sunday.
Addressing the seminar Professor Sadanand Damodar Sapre said that the dignity and golden sensitivity of Indian culture is visible to the whole world. The chief guest of the programme was Kalyan Singh Rawat of Maiti movement. He elaborated upon the effective role played by the Maiti movement on environmental conservation. The vice chancellor of Ayurveda University, SK Joshi discussed the use of plastic surgery in the Indian medicinal system and role of Ayurveda during the pandemic of Covid-19. In her presidential address, the VC of Doon university Surekha Dangwal elaborated on the depths of Indian philosophy and thoughts in literature and its relevance in modern times.
