Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that creating maximum employment opportunities in the state is the top priority of the state government. For this purpose, all possible cooperation and encouragement will be given by the state government to the units keen to invest in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan said this during a meeting with the Director of M/s Chiripal Group, Jyoti Prasad Chiripal and President Deepak Jain at Mantralaya on Monday.
Chiripal Group is willing to set up a unit of Solar Cell, Solar Glass and PV Module production in Ratlam with a capital investment of Rs. 4 thousand 600 crore in an area of about 250 acres, which will create employment opportunities for about 3 thousand people. Similarly, this group will set up a textile unit in Ratlam itself in an area of 30 acres with an investment of Rs 800 crore, which will provide employment to 900 people. At present 9 production units of 6 subsidiaries of Chiripal Group are operational, whose annual turnover is Rs 8 thousand crore.
The unit is working in the field of education, textiles, polyfills and petrochemicals.
