Bhopal’s smart garden is proof of regular plantations

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has greeted the citizens on World Environment Day-June 5. Chouhan has appealed to the citizens to plant saplings on various occasions. He told to contribute to the environment development by planting saplings on the occasion of birthdays and marriage anniversaries of family members.

The Chief Minister said that saplings should be planted in the memory of the deceased members of the family. Chief Minister Chouhan has planted around 700 saplings in the last 15 months. Apart from Bhopal, Chief Minister Chouhan has planted saplings during his stay in New Delhi, Indore, Jabalpur, Bhedaghat, Pachmarhi, Narmadapuram, other cities of the state and also in different cities of the country. Chief Minister Chouhan has decided to plant saplings with the members of various social organizations on Environment Day.

At present, he is planting saplings with members of a social organization. Smart Garden Shyamala Hills is witness to the regular plantation work of Chief Minister Chouhan. Different species of plants are growing in the Smart Garden.

Smart Garden located in Shyamla Hills of Bhopal has been made a green area. There was a time when the area was rocky. In two parts of Smart Udyan, Chief Minister Chouhan has been planting saplings of different species every day.

More than 150 organizations of the capital have participated in the plantation programme. Mango, Lime, Neem, Banyan, Amla and fruit- bearing and flowering plants of various species have been planted.

A number of ornamental plants and distinctive plant species adorn the smart garden. In the coming time, this garden of Bhopal will become more attractive.

The Horticulture Department, Municipal Corporation Bhopal and other departments are working in coordination for the maintenance of plants in the Smart Park located between the Tribal Museum, State Archaeological Museum and Regional Science Center.

Chief Minister Chouhan started the plantation campaign on February 19, 2021 by planting Sal sapling from Amarkantak.

On completion of one year of the campaign, a total of 450 saplings were planted along with environmental lovers and social organizations of Bhopal.

This campaign is being run with the cooperation of the people. Residents associations in different colonies are doing plantation work in the gardens of the area.

Nautapa ends, but heat wave continues

Bhopal: The mood of the weather in Madhya Pradesh has not changed completely. Nautapa is over but the process of raining fire from the sky has not stopped. Yellow alert of heat wave has been issued in 11 cities. The people of Madhya Pradesh are yet to see relief from the heat. Once again heat wave has returned in some cities of the state. Heat wave effects are being seen in some areas including the capital Bhopal.

According to the Meteorological Department, at present a trough is persisting over Afghanistan-Pakistan. Cyclonic circulation is active over South-East Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, the hot air of Pakistan and Rajasthan is coming towards Madhya Pradesh at a high speed.

Its effect is being seen more in Gwalior Chambal division. In the last 24 hours, Khajuraho and Datia recorded a temperature around 46 degrees Celsius. People of Satna, Rajgarh, Guna, Gwalior, Datia and Morena need to be more vigilant.

Due to the same pre-monsoon activity, there was a drop in temperature for a week. Officials of Meteorological Department Bhopal circle said that a cyclonic circulation is persisting over South-West Uttar Pradesh and East-West Trough is moving towards Nagaland with the same cyclonic circulation, but it will not have much effect on the weather of Madhya Pradesh. . He has said that most of the day will be dry weather.
