Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer-based certification and licensure testing, announced today it will be delivering a new six-month online certification program for the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI).
The ASCI has a long heritage of executive education, specializing in the training of civil servants of corporate and government sectors and urban management since 1956.
In partnership with Pearson VUE, ASCI will be launching a new internationally recognized certification in ‘Strategic Human Resource Management’. The self-taught modular course will cover topics including the shift from the traditional role of HR to a more strategic one, recruitment, selection and strategic onboarding, employee professional development and employee engagement.
Through studying a range of best practice scenarios, candidates will be better able to align the HR function with their employer’s organizational goals, after pursuing this new online certification. Competency-based credentials in HR are growing in popularity in India; busy working HR professionals will benefit from being able to take their exam from home with Pearson VUE’s online proctoring solution.
Registrations for the SHRM certification will start from March 2022.

World University of Design has established a Centre of Excellence in Rapid Prototyping for fabrication of designed products and parts created in CAD, using additive layer manufacturing techniques, without using the traditional manufacturing processes.

Department of PGDM & MIB of Institute of Management Studies, Noida organised the Faculty Development Programme on Research methodology: Parametric Test and Factor analysis. Many participants from various eminent institutions and IMS joined the session. The six days Online Faculty Development Program included the sessions on types of management scales, reliability analysis of scales using SPSS, assumptions of normality, and univariate analysis and concepts on SPSS. The guest speaker of the session was Dr Kulneet Suri, Senior Director IMS Noida and Faculty Department of Management, Dr Pratiksha Tiwari.
Dr Pratiksha Tiwari explained different kinds of data like nominal, ordinal, interval, and data cleaning steps on SPSS. She further added, “There are several ways to clean data using the Record and Field Operation nodes in IBM SPSS Modeler. The Data Quality Report prepared during the data understanding phase contains details about the types of problems particular to your data. It can be used as a starting point for data manipulation in IBM SPSS Modele.”
