North Delhi Mayor inspected Hindu Rao hospital in view of COVID-19 vaccination to sanitation workers. During the inspection, Standing Committee chairman, Chhail Bihari Goswami, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Anu Kapoor and other senior officials were also present.
Mayor Jai Prakash said that vaccination campaign of frontline warriors is going on in North DMC hospitals. He said, “Sanitation workers are a part of the frontline warriors. Everyone is actively participating in this vaccination drive. Our sanitation workers had contributed significantly in keeping the city clean during the pandemic. Around 50 safai karamcharis have been vaccinated and rest will be vaccinated in a phased manner.”
“India has set an example before the whole world by controlling the virus. We are on the way to become a Corona-free nation now. We are also providing COVID-19 vaccine to other nations,” the Mayor added.
