Chhattisgarh Police on Friday seized 20.30 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 1.50 lakhs and arrested two persons including a woman in Raipur city, police said. Additional Superintendent of Police Tarkeshwar Patel told The Pioneer that Rafique Khan (40) and his sister Tabassum Khatoon (28) hail from Uttar Pradesh.
They were arrested from a bus stand and the cannabis was found in a bag. They told the police that they brought the contraband from Chhattisgarh’s Jagdalpur town and were taking it to Uttar Pradesh.
