Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel appointed Prof Hari Bahadur Srivastava of Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi) as Vice Chancellor of Siddharth University at Kapilvastu on Monday.
His term will be for three years and appointment as the vice chancellor will be effective from his date of joining. Prof Srivastav is a professor of geology and mining department of BHU.
