In view of the Covid-19 'Gamak', a series focused on the activities of multiple disciplines is being broadcasted online on social media platforms.
Under the series Sahitya Akademi broadcasted the recitation of the verses of Sant Singaji by Vijay Sapre and Partner, Bhopal, on the YouTube channel of the department.
In the presentation, Vijay Sapre narrated Nirguni Saint Singa's ‘Nirgun Brahma is different, some understand understanding lost’, ‘Nirvani Singaji has become a bridegroom’, Sunta Jajo Guru Gyani, Kheti Khedo Hari Naam Ki and Janam Tera Baton Ki.
In the presentation Ustad Ikrar Hussain on Tabla, Atul Archwal on Harmonium and Utkarsh Naranware on Octoped gave accompaniment.
Vijay Sapre was born in a musical family. You got your early education in music from your father. Received formal education of music from Shankar Rao Sapre and from mother Manik Sapre.
After that the eminent singer of Gwalior Gharana, Kashi Nath received training from Pandit Shri Ram Marathe, son of Pant Marathe, for ten years in Khayal Tarana, Thumri-Dadra Chaturanga and Bhajan singing. Also received guidance from Dhrupad singer Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar and Pandit Balasaheb Poochwale and Ramswaroop Ratoniya.
