Eminent mass media expert Prof. Davinder Kaur Uppal had a sudden demise Monday night in Bhopal.
She was suffering from corona for some time and was undergoing treatment at Red Cross Hospital. It is a huge loss for everyone.
Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi has expressed deep sorrow. He said that while teaching at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism University and Sagar University, Prof. Uppal prepared an entire generation of communicators, journalists.
He said that Prof. Uppal was the chairperson of the Mass Communication Department at the Makhanlal Chaturvedi University of Journalism. The departure of Davinder Kaur Uppal is creating a void, which is difficult to fill. She was an unmatched teacher.
