Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday said that the State is not limited to business to business or government to business or government to government relationship."The region of Haryana is the land of hospitality and the birthplace of the Gita. That's why we believe in heart to heart connect," he said while speaking at the inauguration of the new state-of-the-art corporate headquarters of Hyundai Motors India at Sector-29, Gurugram.
On the occasion, he also inaugurated two oxygen plants set up by the company at the Community Health Centre at Nuh district headquarters and at Alafia Civil Hospital. The Chief Minister also planted a sapling in the premises of the corporate headquarters of the company.
At the inauguration programme, the Chief Minister began his address by introducing himself in Korean and also concluded his speech in Korean saying, 'I welcome you to the land of Haryana'.
He said that Haryana’s single window system has been recognized as one of the best systems in India for providing approvals for the industry. We have set up a new department named Foreign Cooperation Department to help investors and entrepreneurs.
In the matter of industrial investment, Haryana is now not only focusing on the satisfaction of the investors, but also on keeping the customers happy. The establishment of the headquarters of Hyundai Motors in Gurugram is a living example of Haryana's 'Ease of Doing Business' and 'Ease of Living', he said.
The Chief Minister further said that Haryana has been growing in various sectors like IT and ITeS, Agro and Food Processing, Health Care and Medical Education, Skill Development, Electronics Hardware Manufacturing, Textile and Textile Industry, Defense and Aerospace, Rapid Mass Transport, Integrated Aviation Hub in Hisar. Recently, South Korean companies have shown interest to invest in Haryana, he said while assuring full cooperation from the State Government to them to invest more in the state. It was informed that Hyundai's state-of-the-art centre is set up in an area of more than 28,000 sq.mt. The company showcased its 25-year journey in India through a documentary at the event.
