The company has witnessed an exponential growth since its inception and writing tale of success by producing movies like Sachin- A Billion Dreams, War Chhod Na Yaar and Thackray to name a few. The company is inclined towards making cinema that is not only commercially viable but have some underlined social message.
In Sachin-A Billion Dreams, that is based on many real-life incidents of Indian Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar. About the movie, “Sachin’s achievements are placed in the context of India’s own modern history and his rise and rise as one of the greatest icons of our time.” Another movie War Chhod Na Yaar is a war comedy about which Times of India stated, “Black comedy is a rare genre in Bollywood and hats-off to Haider for bringing it to the forefront.” The movie talks about a few unpleasant cross-border incidents and has brilliant actor Sharman Joshi in the lead role.
Apart from Bollywood, Carnival has spread its strong foothold in regional cinemas too. It has produced movies in regional languages like Malayalam and Marathi. Malayalam movie Mudhugauv which is also a comedy was a super-hit produced by Carnival.
Carnival is all geared up to release its next movie ‘Mere Desh ki Dharti’ which revolves around the youth of modern India and their blind race towards so-called success. It discusses about how the youth is disconnected with their roots.
