Under the leadership of Director Incharge (DIC) BSL Amarendu Prakash, Bokaro Steel Plant Township Maintenance is under prime consideration of improvement in alignment under ED (P&A) Sameer Swarup the Renovation work of Entire Township has taken execution form.
In the same series as per commitment & by showing ownership Team of Town Administration department led by CGM Township B.S Popli repair work started of road from Naya Moad to Steel Works Station (near Leprosy Rehabilitation Colony) which is around 5 km , It also covers roads in between CISF Pass Section to CEZ and road stretch near 132 KV Substation. Total length of all the above repair work of road is 6.63 km.
Sharing information COC BSL MK Dhan further said that Renovate Work to be start this month includes repair of entire City Centre Area to be covered which likely 50,000 square meter which also includes Length around 6 kms including BGH parking area, Road between Patharkatta to Shastri Chowk to BGH to Rajendra Chowk (7.1 km) Also other major work to start this month or by early January includes RCC Road of Sector 11 near railway crossing which connects Dhanbad internally , RCC Road construction from Dundibag to four lane as same concern also expressed by MLA and MP in recent period during meeting with DIC BSL and ED (P & A) . It’s noteworthy that apart from the Road repair Township department also working extensively towards Road side installation of High mast lights in various critical locations and conversion of conventional mercury vapour and sodium vapour lamps with LED lights seeking Smart Township approach.
