The author shares her journey and its impact on her career as an author, "My earliest memories of writing were at the age of 6 or 7 when I wrote poetry after school hours. The verses were lost to time as life happened. The writer in me raised its creative head now and then. An inspiring note here or there, an article that provoked thoughts, a revolutionary out-pour for a leading magazine found its way through my pen. I never experienced a struggling writers woes, as my work found its way to publishing easily."
“For me, the passion of writing is- the writing in itself. I do not beat up myself to create, it's the writing that fires me up. It is in itself a constant motivation. So passion comes from writing and passion ignites my writing. It’s a continuous cycle” She added. Besides, the author also gave a word of advice to the budding authors “I have a few pointers for budding authors- I always keep a goal. Maybe 1500 words per day, more or less.
Depending on the situation, how busy I am with my other projects. The goal always helps in completion. I wake up every morning and treat it like a job. It’s all about regularity. Read back what you’ve written and ask yourself, “Do I enjoy this? Does it work?” If you’re stumbling over something as you read, rewrite, rewrite!”
