You don't need any reason to be creative," says artist Pawan Deshpande. Creativity requires no particular reason and is definitely not bounded to any form. This has been proven right by artists Pawan Deshpande and team. The artists bring out the best of their creativity in incredible ways. From creating a radio out of 3000kg metal scrap to adding spectacular creativity at Triveni Museum Ujjain, Pawan and his team has always left art lovers in an awe.
In a rendezvous with The Pioneer, Pawan shared his experience and challenges. He also shared about his love for art. "This cannot be denied that creativity has no bounds. So, we do not work only with the scrap, but we do all forms of visual art. We have worked out Graffiti which is becoming popular these days and we have worked out archeological art as well." The team is working under Kabaad se Jugaad and is located in Bhopal.
While sharing more about his work, Pawan said, "Our first big project was Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum in 2013. We have designed Gallery 1 of the museum and from then there was no turning back."
The artist informed that they have a dedicated team of various artists working under Kabaad se Jugaad. "One of my friends and known artist Devendra Shakya designs the creative art pieces."
Recently, the team has created 24 feet tall guitar out of waste. The guitar will be put at Boat Club. "We got a huge number of electrical scrap from Bhopal Municipal Corporation and we designed the guitar with it." The huge guitar is made up with Mother Boards, Keyboards, Cassettes, Tin, BMC cycle stand, and wires. "Keeping my fingers crossed, I don't think that there is a guitar as huge as this one in the entire country." Undoubtedly, the team is turning Bhopal into a creative hub. But, this is not all, they have worked in Ujjain and Chennai as well. The team has also created a beautiful studio and spellbinding work stations for themselves. "Devendra has created a portrait of APJ Abdul Kalam and the incredible feature is that, it is created with the pages of his biography Wings of Fire," Pawan added contentedly.
