Pune based author Sunit Gajbhiye launched his book ‘Untamed Origins’ which is a survival thriller with a ghost mystery with a message ‘Do what it takes to survive’. Untamed Origins takes us into a mysterious Journey of two friends, Rishi and Manas, who is  caught in a ghost- village named Vaghan where people are Demanding their life as a sacrifice.

The story knits a tale where the protagonists are engaging with ghosts, giving the readers a peak into a world of mystery and blood curdling experiences. Fans of supernatural tales will find engagement in the book. Upon asking the author about the idea behind choosing ghosts and superstition as background Gajbhiye explained.

“I started working on Untamed Origins to write about the atrocities in our society and expose these facts to civilized, urban people who, in an average life span, would not be aware of the evils that still exist in our society. There are many things in life that education doesn’t expose to us. We ignore that there are many societies whose foundations are still based on so-called superstitions. I also ensured the interest of my readers.”

The survival thriller talks about the deep rooted atrocities in our society with a hint of myths and superstitions that are still believed and practiced. Author shares his journey, “The entire journey of getting the book traditionally published was joyously painful. It started more than nine years ago. Amongst the numerous hours, working on multiple stories, I realized that expressing myself through writing gave me joy and a balance in life.It took me 3 years to complete the manuscript along with research on herbs, and action sequences. To get the book published took another strenuous journey, but it was fruitful in the end.”
