Raj Bhavan has been declared Containment free area. All the 10 people infected by Covid-19 infection are undergoing treatment in hospitals. Members of other 10 families of the containment area have been transferred to the Quarantine area.

The Secretary to Governor Manohar Dubey has informed that check up of 395 people of Raj Bhavan premises was conducted for Covid 19 infection. In addition to the 10 positive cases received earlier, reports of all the remaining 385 cases have been found negative.

 He informed that no person without permission will be allowed to visit the Governor House area. Separate thermo scanning has been arranged at the entrance of the Raj Bhavan and at the entrance of Lal Kothi. Details of thermo scanning of each person are being compiled. Sanitation is mandatory at all contact locations.

Declaration from every visitor that he/she has no symptoms of cold and cough, fever etc. is also being taken. Visitors are allowed to visit only after taking all precautions and following protocols such as keeping two yards distance, with masks and shoe covers on, sanitisation and thermal screening etc.

Arrangements have been made to accommodate the employees working in the duty of the Governor in the same area. After conducting the corona test of all the employees, only healthy employees have been accommodated in this area.

Safety standards like masks, gloves and sanitization have been fully ensured by the employees residing in the Governor House’ premises. Arrangement for the availability of cavalcade has also been ensured as per the requirement of the Governor.
