Prof Sukla passes away

After prolonged illness for over three years, noted professor, philosopher, author and the founding editor of the “Journal of Comparative Literature and Aesthetics” Ananta Charan Sukla passed away at his residence here on Thursday.

He was 79. His last rites were performed at his native place at Bhadrak. He is survived by his wife and two sons, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
