Bokaro unit of Indian cement major Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited handed over 1000 packets of dry ration to Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Director, Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Association, in presence of Md. Sadat Anwar, Director, DRDA Bokaro.
Each packet of dry ration consists of 5 kg Atta, 2 kg rice,1 kg pulses,1 kg salt, and 200 ml oil. Additionally the company has distributed more than 500 kg of rice and 100 kg of pulses in villages adjacent to the Bokaro unit.
Reiterating its commitment to assist the State government in its fight against COVID 19, DCBL has already contributed Rs.50 lakhs in Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of the state to help the people who are badly affected by the lockdown.
As part of its ongoing relief activities, DCBL had earlier provided over 1000 dry grocery packets to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Bokaro. The company has also stepped up to help stranded truck drivers, helpers and cleaning staffs by providing them dry ration and sanitizing products.
Furthermore, the company has also undertaken initiative to sanitize Gorabali and Balidih villages along with Government Offices and nearby markets under its CSR responsibilities.
