Cyber crime cell of the Bhopal police has nabbed miscreant from Telangana on the charge of blackmailing a girl circulating obscene photographs and videos obtained from hacking her e-mail account; accused created a fake Instagram profile.
Police said that the victim girl was blackmailed by the accused identified as Turup Sai Kumar (27) of Ranga Reddy Telangana was nabbed by cyber cell Bhopal who hacked gmail account of the victim and later posted obscene photographs and videos by creating fake Instagram profile. By creating fake Instagram profile and posting indecent things accused blackmailed the victim. The victim reported incident after she came to know about the profile.
The victim’s father lodged a complaint with the Cyber crime cell regarding the accused who developed friendship with her by creating a fake Instagram profile which was in the name of her daughter and started to blackmail her. Based on the details police found that the fake profile was operated from Ranga Reddy Telangana area and later nabbed the accused.
