The S Chand and Co India’s oldest and largest textbook and education content company has reported a staggering increase in usage of its home learning app — Learnflix — during the coronavirus lockdown.
With schools being closed since March, Learnflix has seen a robust growth of 513 per cent in subscriptions during the lockdown specially from tier II and tier III cities with similar growth in downloads, signups as well a 100 percent increase in schools and channel partners.
Learnflix has seen the increase in the number of the subscriber from 3,000 to around 20000 in last four months since the complete shutdown of educational institutions across the country.
The massive jump and increase are noticed particularly in Tier II & III towns like Agra, Bhatinda, etc. where students can easily afford it from their monthly pocket money. The app is aggressively priced and highly affordable compared to other available learning apps to ensure easy adoption by schools and students across India. It i s currently being used in 600+ towns and cities across 86 Countries
Learnflix offers Math and Science classes for VI to X, based on the CBSE syllabus, while also being of use to students of other state boards.
