A programme was organised by women entrepreneurs under the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Ladies Organisation, Uttarakhand chapter at Shivpuri.
Speaking at the event, the Rishikesh MLA and Vidhan Sabha Speaker Prem Chand Agarwal said that all women entrepreneurs will definitely get positive results from tourism, hospitality and welfare in Rishikesh and its surroundings. The women entrepreneurs present in the programme discussed tourism and road related problems in Uttarakhand with Agarwal.
He said that women entrepreneurs have a special place in the economic development of the world.
He said that for there are a lot of opportunities for investment in Uttarakhand and the government's full focus is on how to increase the employment opportunities for women in the state. On this occasion, Kiran Bhatt, senior vice chairperson of FICCI FLO said that during the programme the gathering discussed how women entrepreneurs can participate and cooperate in government schemes. FICCI FLO State chairperson Nazia Izuddin also expressed her views on the occasion.
