The president of Trikon Society and general secretary of FICCI FLO, Neha Sharma, has been appointed national co-convenor of FICCI FLO. Sharma said that she has been given the responsibility of national co-convenor for skill development in FICCI FLO. She will be working to promote power-to-empower through NGO skill women's initiative, organise talk shows related to career options, focus on women-related skills and help facilitate placement and internship for women.
Sharma said that the national level guidelines will be implemented at the local level. She said that the aim of FICCI FLO is not only to empower women but also to make them participants in government functioning with work being undertaken in this direction.
