BJYM plans bike rally on Yoga Day
Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) decided to organise a motorcycle rally on Yoga Day eve, June 20 in meeting held on Monday. The rally will create awareness about yoga and to promote participation among the citizens. It will also serve as a welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is arriving in the city on June 21on Yoga Day.
DC wishes success to young athletes
As many as 123 kids selected from Lohardaga for the Khel Mahakumbh in Khel Gaon were seen off by Lohardaga DC Akanksha Ranjan and other officials with best wishes on Monday. The DC wished the athletes a bright future. The athletes will participate in the trails from June 11 to June 13. The qualifying athletes will be provided free education by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL).
JAP jawan dies
A police constable belonging to Jharkhand Armed Police-8 died and two cops including an ASI fell ill after sun stroke hit them. Deceased cop has been identified as Arvind Gupta, a resident of Bihar's Gaya district, who was waiting to board a bus at a bus stand when he fell unconscious and rushed to the Garhwa hospital. Doctors declared him dead. ASI Dular Lakada and Bhupendra Yadav were on duty at Tandwa more when they were hit by heat stroke. Both were admitted to Garhwa hospital and are undergoing treatment.
