Addressing the first global alumni convention of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) on Saturday at Minto Hall, Public Relations, Law and Legal Affairs, Science and Technology, Aviation, Religious Trust and Endowments Minister PC Sharma said that every Engineering student is fit and a hit everywhere. Ex-students of MANIT from 26 countries took part in the event.
In his address, Sharma underlined the outstanding work undertaken by former students of MANIT in various fields and said that if all work together, they can bring revolutionary changes in any field. He expressed happiness on meeting old colleagues. Sharma said that new energy is generated by meeting former colleagues. Today students who have passed out of MANIT are making Bhopal and the whole country proud in 65 countries around the world.
Noted personalities who have been ex-students of MANIT were felicitated at the convention. Former Manitian and current Director General, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis R Parshuram was honoured in the Non Core Category. In the Core category, ex-students John K John, Santosh Choubey and Sanjeev Agarwal were felicitated. Guests released the souvenir ‘Magnum Opus-2019’ published by MANIT Alumni cell in the programme.
Canada resident and MANIT Alumni Cell President Ragini RVR, former MLA Shailendra Pradhan, Retired Major General Shyam Shrivastava, Sanjeev Saxena and Prafulla Nilose were also present on the occasion.
