The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has launched Rath Yatra mobile app ‘ECOR YATRA’ for the benefit of the passengers especially for the devotees who are coming to witness the festival at Puri.
Passengers having android based smart phones can download the app from Google Play Store and can get the information related to different regular and special trains and other facilities by the ECoR during the Rath Yatra festival.
Information and facilities in the ECoR Yatra App are on complete details of special trains scheduled to run during the Rath Yatra period i.e. from July 3 to July; all regular trains’ time table; train live information; facilities of tourism, retiring rooms and Mela shed arrangements of IRCTC; special additional ticket counters at Puri and at wayside stations; transport facilities at Puri by OSRTC and pre-paid taxi; inquiry facilities like seat availability, fare, reserved and unreserved tickets booking; videos on use of Automatic Ticket vending Machine (ATVM) and Unreserved Ticketing System on Mobile (UTS on Mobile) etc.
Besides, information on other facilities like Helpline numbers, passenger amenities like catering and drinking water arrangement, e-catering, medical assistance and sanitation, wheel chairs for Divyangjan, Battery operated Vehicle (BOV) at platform, photo gallery, grievances and free Wi-Fi facilities can be available in the App.
Live streaming of the Rath Yatra shall also be available through the App.
