APP to help JEE advanced aspirants
The JEE Advanced 2019 Exam, is scheduled to be conducted on May 27 2019. Aspirants who have cleared JEE Mains have already started the preparation for JEE Advanced. TruMath is one of the highest rated apps for complete JEE Math’s prep. It provides the best of worlds, coaching and online learning for the students. The classes are interactive and give the feel of learning with a teacher in a classroom.
Students have to log in to online classes — either on the website or through the app — four to five days a week. Each class lasts around 50 minutes. It includes tutoring, tests, questions, and offers students the chance to have their doubts clarified, and get tutors’ feedback.
The app is available on Android as of now, and will soon be available on ios as well.
Education Science Camp at kiit
The KIIT College of Education and KIIT World School celebrated National Technology Day. A science camp was organised where students displayed the models based on latest technology like IoT, Embedded System and Robotics.
The aim was to generate awareness among the students, academia and the public about technology.
While speaking at the moment Dr SS Aggarwal, DG KIIT College of Education said: “The day is celebrated as a symbol of quest for scientific inquiry, technological creativity and translation of that quest in the integration of science, society and industry.”
Smart Water ATM, Laser Based Security System and Fire Alarm System got first, second and third prize.
Cutting-edge design programmes
World University of Design (WUD) is offering over 24 cutting-edge programmes including transportation design, product design, game design, film and video, digital drawing and Illustration, built environment and habitat studies, design management, art education and curatorial practice among others; going way beyond the traditional offerings.

Plus Subscription
The Unacademy had announced the launch of the Plus Subscription after a beta of two months. The subscription gives learners preparing for various examinations unlimited access to live classes by the best teachers in the country. Learners get a personalised learning experience that is augmented by doubt-clearing sessions with the educators, interactive classes and a live test series. The educators are compensated well for conducting the live classes.

IIM Calcutta signs MoU
The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) has signed a MoU with The Jan Chetna Trust established by Late Prof Nirmal Chandra for organising the Nirmal Chandra Memorial Lecture series.
This initiative has been created to honor the outstanding contributions of the institute's former faculty member of the Economics, Late Prof Nirmal, a renowned economist and socialist thinker who encouraged many individuals to undertake the path of research in the field of economics.
He was one of the early recruit professors of the institute who played a pivotal role in shaping not just the Economics but also the perception of management education as a whole.
