Justice Aniruddha Bose took oath as the 12th Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court at Raj Bhawan on Saturday. Governor Droupadi Murmu administered oath to Justice Bose in a ceremony held at Birsa Mandap of Raj Bhawan in the presence of Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon and other eminent persons of the judiciary, executive and legislature.
Cabinet Minister Saryu Roy and Ramchandra Chandravanshi, leader of the Opposition Hemant Soren, Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Judges of Jharkhand High Court, lokayukta, Advocate General, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Senior Administrative Officers, Director General of Police, Vice Chancellors of universities and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Born on April 11, 1959 Justice Aniruddha Bose studied law at Surendranath College of law in Kolkata. He became an advocate in 1985 and took oath as Jutice of Calcutta High Court in 2004.
