In order to ensure the safety of travellers on the occasion of Deepawali that will be celebrated on Wednesday, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has decided to run the metro services till 10 pm only instead of 11 pm.
“On account of Deepawali festival the last metrotrain services on the day will be at 10 pm instead of 11 pm from terminal stations of all metro lines including Aiport Express Line,” said the DMRC spokesperson.
The spokesperson further said that the Metro train services will run for rest of the day on Deepawali from 6:00 am on all lines and from 4:45 am on Airport Express Line.
