Chief Minister Raman Singh, former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, Congress State chief Bhupesh Baghel besides media personalities of State on Monday expressed their deep condolences on the demise of veteran journalist Govindlal Vora.
In his death, golden era in Chhattisgarh journalism had come to an end,’’ Singh said, adding, Rs Rs Vora was a simple man, easy to get along with and was one of the finest and brightest journalists in the entire State who served journalism for six long decades. His demise is an irreparable loss to Hindi journalism,’’.
It may be recalled that Vora was former Editor of Nav Bharat daily and Chief Editor of 'Amrit Sandesh' for the past 34 years.
He died late last night at a private hospital in New Delhi.
Vora had been undergoing medical treatment at a private hospital in New Delhi but passed away last night leaving a void in the field of Hindi Journalism.
