‘Rahul’s statements display lack of maturity’

Tuesday, 06 November 2018 | Staff Reporter | Raipur

Going by the statements of All India Congress Committee President Rahul Gandhi, he does not seem to be a mature person says former UP Chief Minister and BJP’s Lok Sabha MP Jagdambika Pal .

“Rahul Gandhi had been criticizing the country in foreign soil. Such type of politics would not last for long “, he said while addressing a press conference here on Monday.

Pal has arrived in Raipur for poll campaigning for the BJP candidates in Chhattisgarh.

Reacting on the recent comment of Congress party UP Chief Raj Babbar calling Maoists as ‘revolutionaries’, he said the Congress party should seek apology for such a statement made in the state.

The UP Congress President should also apologise for making the statement. "They (Congress leaders) must know, they had lost their own leaders in Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh", he said.

“Congress party does not have any issue at hand so its leaders are indulging in issuing statements. They (Congress party) should list out the work done by it in Chhattisgarh;  but is there anything for the party to show,” he asked.

“The issue of Ram Temple is of faith. It is the belief of crores of people that a Ram Temple should be built in Ayodhya. People also have faith in judiciary”, Pal said.

On  BSP Supremo Mayawati, he said, “Mayawati is searching for poll victories in Chhattisgarh as in Uttar Pradesh she has lost her domination. She used to speak ill of Ajit Jogi ;  now she has a poll alliance with his party.”

“Congress leader Manish Tiwari has shown disrespect to people of the country by stating that NDA government made the people bankrupt. The Congress is hitting with empty shells. The inflation is under control. People are celebrating the festival of Diwali with much fanfare,” Pal said.
