ACP jumps to death from Delhi Police HQ

An Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) posted at Delhi Police Headquarters allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 10th floor of the building situated in Central Delhi on Thursday around 10.16 am.

Prem Ballabh, 55, was posted as ACP of Crime & Traffic (C&T) as part of the Delhi Police Establishment branch and was recently hospitalised for 28 days as he was suffering from depression.

Ballabh reported to his office on Thursday morning. He did not give any hint of unusual behaviour and worked for sometimes, said sources, adding that he reportedly he went to the 10th floor and jumped off the building.
